If anybody is knowologible on these topics could you way in?

Is the author left or right handed?

Is there any tell tale sign from the woman’s weight or hair that says anything about class?

What type of people had accesses to the materials to make books like that?

Where the paints used common or expensive at the time?

Clearly the text is written from left to right.

The other questions can not be answered, but the manuscript vellum (goat skin probably) was a bit expensive.

A manuscript as a book in those days was sold at a price equivalent to a good car these days.

“Painting or coloring” of a book was often done by experts because of the ink was difficult to access and making drawings was a specialty as most crafts were in medieval time.

However, the “look and feel” of the drawings are a bit messy, perhaps hasty, as well as the coloring of them. This could indicate:

    • time period is earlier than 1400, but the main stream and carbon dating says otherwise, so this is not probable.
    • the artist or craftsman was not very good, and there was a tight budget, perhaps a tight time-frame as well

So the author was likely a learned man being funded?

In that case being written in a code is more probable than a dead language i guess?

You’re spot on, but do not tell further, until I solved it. (Due to time issues it’s now on a pile here.)

Most people are in the camp of palaeographical-or-microscopical-or-alien-solutions-or-nonsensetext-corner.
